Right we all know how to play MAG and what it takes to win and already have our own clans and circles that we all run around in
Chances are none of us will get together straight away to form an alliance and i wouldnt expect it since we dont know how DUST will work until the beta hits and we can see for ourselves, not to mention we wont all get along with each other
So the reality is form your own corp, simple as
Make your corp with the ppl you play with at first and get yourseleves upto speed
Im not saying dont talk to each other about an alliance but if each corp finds it feet, learns the game and how it works then chances are an alliance will prosper more easily due to each corp and its members having a more detailed background about what it wants to do and what direction it wants to take
As it is in MAG everyone tends to be a jack of all trades but in DUST like in EVE chances are it will be highly more specialized so if the corps find out what they like to do and what they are best at then an alliance will be stronger than one if everyone just piles into an alliance from the get go
We got around 6months maybe till the beta hits, its a long time and we dont have to rush anything, all we can do is prepare of sorts. I will be in EVE at least for the trial and maybe a bit longer to understand how EVE works at a basic level, we already have other members running corps in EVE likewise many other MAG players are already in EVE or trying it out
Even when the beta hits thats another 6months to try things out, see who is intrested in the game, how it all works, how it interlinks, how far can you specialize, what things cost, can you mine etc
Dont have to rush anything and if ive learned owt about running clans is that it pays well to take your time in building and doing it right from the start instead of a rush job
