EvE Corp: CMC is currently partnered with Remnants of the Forgotten. Remnants of the Forgotten is a growing industrial corp that currently resides in wormhole space. The CEO also heads the alliance Seekers of the Unseen. Members of the CMC who have EvE characters are welcome to join reside in this corp until Dust514 launches.

CMC is a professional online gaming community founded and led by U.S. Military personnel. The CMC emphasizes professionalism, tactical proficiency and leadership development at all levels. As such, we hold our members (our Marines) to a higher standard than that of the typical online gaming community, breeding a foundation of loyalty and stability that is hard to find in other online gaming organizations.

You must be 18 years old to enlist and 20 years old to apply for officer training.

Active Platoons:

Hell Hound [HH]
Platoon Commander: DrThunder
http://www.cmcmarines.com/HH/default.aspx
- Hell Hound was a small organization that played Battlefield 2142 on the PC. Until the release of Dust514 or Planetside2, HH will focus primarily on Battlefield3 on XBox360, Playstation3 and PC.

We don’t play games, we wage virtual warfare.
GIT SOME MARINES!

status levels:

Enlisted- Enlisted members consist of both casual and hard core FPS gamers. Activity requirements for enlisted members are relatively relaxed, however just like all members of CMC, they must follow the CMC ROE. If you are currently in a player corp, fear not. CMC does not require enlisted members to resign from their current posts.

Warrant Officer- To become a Warrant Officer you must intend to play both Dust 514 and EvE online. If you choose to gain Warrant Officer status, you must commit your primary character to the organization by joining the Logistics and Combat Support [LCSE] EvE Online Corp. You will not retain membership in any other player run corp and you must not allow for any other individuals to access your account.

Commissioned Officer- In order to obtain Commissioned Officer status, you must reach a minimum age requirement, as well as dedicate your online gaming time to the CMC exclusively. The organization is your online gaming family and you will be willing to make sacrifices as necessary in order to ensure the wellbeing of the community. At a later time, you may be required to submit personal contact information in order to allow for the CMC command staff to contact you outside of the online gaming environment. Participation in the CMC L&CSE is encouraged but not required.

Whats up. I am a long time gamer. I also have extensive experience in personell management. In eve i have flown with orginizations such as goons, kia, Primary., Rzr and other alliance as well as independent corps. I am a supreme recruitment officer and fps player. I have a long history in first person shooters spanning back from the old super nintendo games. I have recruited for every corp/allaince i have ever been in and always yielded large numbers. they way i accomplish this is through diligence and dedication lol and a lil bit of multi-tasking you will often see me in a pvp fleet hitting targets and in a convo recruiting a new member I have experience with leading wolf pack and medium sized fleets. I am also a specialist type fpser. meaning that i am the guy that runs in by himself kills 6 guys and captures the waypoint. i might die but when i do i either take many with me or complete an objective. with the right men and decipline i could easily lead a squad and wield them like a surgical knife. my squad would be specialize in going behing enemy lines, completing objectives and attacking spawn points and bases. if you are interested in recruiting me than please hit me up....give me some more info...and please direct me to a guild website or some place where i can sign up. thank you.... all offers will be considered

I took one look at DrThunders forums and I was in. This was the answer I was looking for, a clan that will have the potential to be a massive super power without the zerg mentality. My advice is to read carfully through the posts in the New Member Orientation board, then decide if you have what it takes to be a CMC Marine.

Well what can i say. i think i have made my choice. CMC for the win. I love the competent and professional leadership i have sean so far and this orginization definitly has the potential to become a powerhouse like the blobs of eve online. I plan to be apart of this orginizations growth and leadership and i pray to have other skilled and novice fpsers out there whom may join my squads in ops with in this orginization once the game drops. So i hope that some of you come visit the CMC sight and get to know all of us lets get tactical and lets have some fun.

From the looks of the forums, it seems like CMC leadership have a good handle on ground combat and organization. It would be my pleasure to work with a group like this when DUST comes out. My strengths are in knowing every detail of EVE mechanics, though I am somewhere around average as far as FPS players go. I've sent in an application and hope to see you all on the CMC forums soon .

No, we don't, but I did play it back in the day when it first came out. I was actually thinking more along the lines of Aliens the movie when I chose the name for CMC. "Send in the Marines!"

I just sent in an application to be able to post on your forums, which when accepted will lead to another application for the clan.

What Console were you thinking of getting it for? I have both the PS3 and the Xbox 360 so either or is good for me.

Colonial Marine Corps (CMC) was designed from the top down to essentially be a conglomerate of small independent thinking groups, with a stable centralized command element to establish a unified goal oriented mentality across the organization. These small independent thinking groups which we designate as platoons will be separated by a number of criteria. As such, members of CMC can pick and choose which platoon best fits their needs. As a platoon becomes large enough, it's players will be encouraged to branch off and create new platoons, even exclusive niche platoons may be formed, thereby creating a company of several platoons which cooperate as a united front.

Looks like quite a few CMC members will be playing Battlefield Bad Company 2, which is being released tomorrow in the US, and on the 5th in Europe.
