So will dust 514 continue over to the ps4

Since I'm pretty sure the ps4 is coming out soon I'll they carry dust
Over to it. If not then it's a waste of money to buy this and get the ps4

The Devs have already stated that they will be prepared to transition the game to newer hardware when the time comes. The title will move onto the next gen PlayStation.

I don't see it happening immediately after the launch of the ps4, since that would also cause a dramatic drop in ps3 prices (as was seen with the ps2). Cheap ps3s mean a much broader audience to promote the game to (Since the game will also be very reasonably priced.)

So, 2016 is my estimated date for dust514 to arrive on ps4

Uhm before u even talk about a ps4 release of the game u should know it depends on how good this game will become....

if they promise alot like zipper did with MAG(Massive action game) and nothing comes true i dont see a reason to implement the game on a ps4

lets first say watch how the game sells and grows after a few months and see if the playerbase keeps playing it or if its dying out whats happening with mag right now.

i mean with it u dont even know how this game will be playable.Maybe the gameplay sucks etc or atleast aint as good as we think it will be.

first lets play this game when it comes out and then we can talk about the future of dust.

I think we can all agree that all speculation is contingent on it not sucking.

Now, assuming it doesn't suck, I would expect a PS4 release shortly after or even concurrent with the PS4's launch. However, for reasons Leovarian Lavitz mentioned, I would not expect any significant differences between the PS3 and the PS4 versions right away. Graphics improvements? More detailed models? Absolutely! But no gameplay differences. No expanded player counts. After all your squad-mates might still have a PS3.

Once CCP sees that the PS4 has taken over, then they'll drop the PS3 and blow away all limits imposed by the older console, probably starting with player and vehicle counts.

Unless they offer exclusive new match types for PS4 owners that incorporate larger battles like 128 vs 128 Domination mode in MAG.
What we do know for certain is that in CCP's own words, whether the game hits the ground running or struggles to gain a foothold, CCP plans on leaving it running.
With almost five years of development time invested into the game, you can expect it to be around whether it gains a mainstream audience or a hardcore cult following.

they already said when the PS4 drops they can move DUST 514 over to the PS4

tbh i see it moving over soon after launch if not at launch. ppl will no doubt want to upgrade their system and not everyone keeps their old systems especially when past games should be backward compatible
