xbox official magazine said release date is TBA 2010. Now that doesnt guarantee a 2010 release date but it signifies late 2010 and it should be in 2010.

I have read RUMORS about q1 or q2 2010 for a release date but, I think that is just wishful thinking. My guess is that it will be in the fall of this year and the "Official" release date will probobly be announced at e3 then confirmed at fanfest. Thats just a guess though, I mean right now there isn;t een an official site up so I think we are a ways off.

Agreed. Its a great place and time to finally put all that info out there. DUST is a huge thing it really is. I forsee it being what planetside was to the gaming industry (just not the failure part).

I'm telling you I feel a summer release, it might be after E3. I'm thinking this summer will actually be a great time for games since Halo reach and Dust will be out.

CCP realease 2 expansion year, one in early summer, one at the end of the year
next expansion will bring (normally) planetary interaction and it will be first step for dust514, problem is to know if Incarna (walking in station) that is supposed (!!??) to be realeased not as an expansion will be needed or not for DUST514, if it's the case it's possible that DUST514 will not be realeased in 2010 coz Incarna seems still to be in some sort of alpha

The only thing I would like Move or Kinect to be used for is that planning table we see in the youtube gameplay vids. I wanna be able to draw lines of attack and whatevr on those tables. That would be awesome!

Probably going to come out fall 2011. Incarna will be CARBON's test bed (The mystical codebase it will be using). Incarna is slated for summer 2011 release, so I expect Dust to fall sometime shortly thereafter to much fanfare and huge advertising (hopefully).

I LOVE the idea of using move to plan out attacks or defenses. That just sounds awesome to me <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D --> . The more I think about it, possible fall of next year? I remember one of these threads a calendar was in pdf and it showed dust already being played in house. Possible beta in may, release in the fall?

I believe that the game has a potential 2011 release, but I wouldn't get your hopes. CCP Fanfest starts soon and they've said in an earlier interview, which I can link if you want, that they should have a new video and private testing/ Alpha underway by the time of Fanfest. Or at least be nearing the Alpha phase. Given this information, I would presume that a DUST 514 beta wouldn't be too farfetched in 2011 given standard time constraints. But who knows? It's CCP after all.
As for me, I'm gonna go ahead and hope they have a Closed Beta Test this year and that the game is on the 360 or both consoles. And at that time, I'll be trying for weeks on end with no sleep to get a key.

I agree.
Only, Blizzard spent 10 years on StarCraft II and I ended up really not liking it. There better not be a correlation.
