Im curious how many EVE players we already have here. How many are gonna do both?
Or to be completly crazy, run both an EVE and a DUST corp?

I am an Eve online player, I have been on Eve for a bit over a year and am having fun in 0.0. I plan to help out my corp and shoot some shit in Dust 514 as well.

I myself just got into EVE about 2....3 months ago.
Love playing it and then this comes along and expands the greatness! Just wish i had good broadband for it *tear*

Can you use your EVE account to play DUST 514 (so we don't have to pay for two subscriptions)?

Two accounts in eve. I used to run a corp we disbanded to join bydi. Now my main is in atlas alliance, and my alt is in misc carebear corp #8363 both accts since 06

I played the trial, I don't really like subscriptions and MMO's though I didn't go through with it. I was really impressed with the universe, art style, concept and scope, but MMO gameplay is not my thing, now that dust is on its way people like me have the perfect purchase option, so I was very pleased with the announcement.

Yep, EvE-O player here, I'm an avid FPS fan, have been since BF2 was released years ago, when a corp mate told me about Dust 514 and how it links in with EvE-O I was ecstatic. The gameplay trailer looks very impressive, looking forward to the game.

I'm also an eve player, from what it looks like from the gameplay footage it will be a battlefield bad company style. Weapon selection on the dpad is a nice touch. I don't run my own corp on eve but I will run a merc corp on dust, I'm more of an fps than mmo guy so dust will fit quite nicely.

Agreed. IF CCP required a subscription to play Dust514 in any meaningful cross-over with EVE, no console gamer would pay it for the simple fact that they are already paying a subscription to the console's online service.
I've played EVE off and on since the later half of 03. I love the universe and the fiction but could not reach the level of participation for the real fun. Maybe I played it too safe by not going into 0.0 space.... and I think i only played it for the sight-seeing and ship spotting as a noob because I love the art direction and ship design. Anyway I am big FPS player for PC and have aspirations of running my own mercenary corp in D514 should this game be released. And yes, I would pay for an FPS on console if it meant getting THIS game on console if there were no PC version. Still plan on going back to EVE at some point.
My biggest concern is that this game will not appeal to your average console-gamer and the only people who will play are those who are running corps in EVE who will put out exclusive low-paying if at all contracts to hire their corpmates to ensure they take over a particular planet.
