Does anyone have a favourite class of vehicle in shooters?
I really like heavy tanks personally, especially in BF1943.

Explosions. And teamwork. Oh god I love team work...
I just can not stand having games where you have a pack of lone wolves sharing a scoreboard.
/me stares at Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Sorry chucky I think you got confused, reread OP
I like attack choppers like in BF2. They're fast and aggressive but still controllable. Hopefully they put something similar into Dust.
Air support or surgical explosion delivery vehicle.

Well you're bloody right there
/me starts over.
Well TBH, there is nothing more satasfiying than rolling around in a tank blowing stuff up. Most so in Battlefield: Bad Company 2. You really blow stuff up there...
Second comes in on air support, mostly the gunner position. Must say, it was imensely satisfying in Modern Warfare 2 when you get to use the M21 Vulcan minigun on the Blackhawk when it's loaded with explosive ammo. But that's topped by the Gunners seat in the Apache in BF:BC2. Now that is a gun!

Totally agree, but I hate going in there and risking that the other guy doesn't know how to fly it.[/quote]
yeah they'll need a tutorial so people learn how to fly the different air vehicles anyways i like rapid transport vehicles like the four wheeler in bfbc2 i like to get in fast and disrupt their defensive line before its completely formed.
I'm a fan of smaller, fast attack vehicles with heavy armament. I'm pretty glad with the buggy that's already been shown however, it would be nice to have something similar to a Land Speeder.

Landspeeder Tempest > all (Including the Landspeeder Cerbrus you posted )
I like the H-60 Blackhawk from BF2, My favroite times playing that game involved my buddy flying us around the map while those in the back operated the machine gun and repaired the chopper from inside. also hovering over the enemies flags using the helicopter as a mobile spawn point.
While, I never have liked being behind the wheels of these vehicles (I find that they are bullet magnets and it makes me feel helpless) I love watching them work. There is nothing like running down a street in battlefield when the wall next to you explodes and you see a tank rolling towards you. You run like hell for cover and call for your good friend in the helicopter. Just as you go around the corner you see the chopper fly down the street to take out the tank.
If we're talking about infintry tactics, I'm your man. I love jumping in a transport and landing behind enemy lines, only to sneak into the opposing forces base and place C-4 on everything. Then I'll leave and set the charges of.

Yea it is an awesome sight I really would love if dust had that I like ferrying troops around to the enemy base pick up 4 snipers and leg it at high speed low altitude in the UH-60 to the enemy base PS its a seahawk I think.
thats teamwork in cod it is everyman for himself its terrible..

Some guys were doing that on the PSN demo, my team were a bit rubbish and they took our blackhawk and kept dropping guys in to plant charges, I killed off the parachuters but could never home in on the chopper in time with the RPG. Luckily we won in the end but it was close thanks to those guys.
In shooters i am mostly as infantry. Exept maybe some specific missions and very large shooters....like Operation Flashpoint. So big territories, forests...ooh. And yes, very useful helicopters...and remember very "freindly" Tunguskas "salutes" to you...
If about Dust game, i guess that very good passed into game (especially on very mountainous, with big canyons and swamped planets) futuristic VTOL Jets from Echelon game. That was cool. Something these..

..though that isn't in-game, but trailer.
Who are interested, can find Echelon demo in Net. It's not big.
If anything, I'd be in a high-speed fighter-bomber. Nothing is better imo than racing over the battlefield at top speed, crapping explosive ordnance on the enemy, then tearing away to engage enemy air support or their base.

Nice way to rain on someone's parade.
tanks, like the prowler in Plnateside (even if look sux) speed enought, good manoeuvrability, good balance between fire/rate firepower
12000+ gunner kill cumulater on my various planetside character (was driver)
My brothers and i used to play a lot of BF2 back in 2005-2006. We got really good at one of my Brothers flying a UH-60 and the rest of us jumping inside and taking gunner seats. He would fly us to a "hot spot", doing a couple of quick circles around the spot for the gunners to soften up the defenders then hot droping us in on a target. we'd roll in fast on foot, killing what we could while calling in to him and the one gunner left on the Blackie to shot at the building in front of us, or the APC or whatever. Finish racking up kills in that area. Before the other team could get reinforcments to that area, we'd hop back in the 60 and hit somewhere else. Fun Fun.
I pray for combat MTACS, not sure how they could be controlled any different from standard FPS style controls but I'd like shoulder mounted chainguns please.
