Well in eve alliances are made up of corps..
You think that will rollover into dust? Where the corps can form alliances?
Or even dust corps joining directly with eve alliances?

Previous poster is correct. DUST corporations will be able to join the same alliances as in EVE Online. They can also create their own alliances.
What this means if someone recruits two corporations in the same alliance, I don't know. Might be fun to watch the fireworks... <!-- s:mrgreen: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":mrgreen:" title="Mr. Green" /><!-- s:mrgreen: -->

Think Large Scale Millitary organization... Smallest to Largest.
10 Men = 1 Squad
4 Squads = 1 Platoon
4 Platoons = 1 Company
4 Companies = 1 Battalion
4 Battalions = 1 Regiment
... And So On,
That's on a scale internal to Dust... But there's every indication that groups of varying sizes will have the oportunity, and ability to join together to form these larger units. The tricky part is how these Alliances in Dust will link up in EVE with it's own Alliance Structure... I don't see how this will mesh well, with the EVE Political landscape being the Beast It Is.
... Then Again,
It could be the catalyst that shakes the Major Players in EVE's Power-Bloc/NapTrain Monstrosities out of thier complacent state of being.

I think right now people should be more worried about their CORP's in DUST rather than possible DUST - EVE alliances, yes they are important. But at this moment in time I myself would be concerned with creating a good large DUST CORP, if it's true the game will end up having 200+ people that means you need 100+ ACTIVE players in your CORP to control a battlefield yourself.

If you think about it, we will be mercs. Last time I played a merc I didn't have an alliance, I shot for the highest bidder. Now I'm sure most of the big alliances will have their own special dust groups so they 1.Don't have to spend as much 2.Don't have major security leaks which seem to happen quite often in eve. We all play on consoles and we know the level of immaturity of most that use a controller. I don't think that most of the 12 year olds will like the idea of being under the thumb of a bunch of older players. They will work on their own and make isk in the process. The group I'm with has already said we will play for the highest bidder, be it goons or russians, new bob or trip a.
